To fight the rising menace of online fraud by cyber crooks resulting in consumers losing money, Paytm Payments Bank — which houses the Paytm e-wallet — has handed over 3,500 numbers to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the ministry of home affairs and CERT-In, the cybersecurity agency.
The CBI has filed an FIR against Adani Enterprises Ltd and a former chairman and an ex-managing director of the National Cooperative Consumer Federation (NCCF) alleging irregularities in the selection of a company for supply of coal to power stations in Andhra Pradesh.
